Oswestry in Bloom
Oswestry in Bloom is a committee that works tirelessly to improve the visual appearance and quality of life of the locals and visitors to Oswestry. Oswestry Town Council contributes towards Oswestry in Bloom every year with grant funding, planters, hanging baskets and officer time.
In 2023, Natalie, the committee, and volunteer organisations and across the town were successful in being Gold and category winner for ‘Best Large Town’ - an amazing achievement!
This year, the regional Heart of England judging visit takes place on July 10th. A small team of judges will be touring the town, guided by members of the Oswestry in Bloom comittee, BID and Oswestry Town Council.
We are delighted that the Memorial Hall will be part of the itinerary, thanks to the growing community activity at the hall, and some notable ‘green’ projects including the Country Market and sustainable fashion from ‘With Love From…’
