Oswestry Youth Forum

Oswestry Youth Forum coming to OMH on Weds 17th April

Oswestry Town Council and SYA are inviting young people of Oswestry aged 11 – 17 years to the next Youth Forum to be held at Oswestry Memorial Hall on the 3rd of April 10.30am to 2.00pm.

Young people can find out about the Youth Forum and meet existing members as part of the day and join in with forum discussion, experience one of the town’s key community organisations, whilst helping to develop a new intergenerational project that is due to take place there. Oswestry’s Youth Forum is part of the Town Council’s campaign to engage with young people of Oswestry and the wider area. The long-term aim of the Forum is to involve young people in Council decision-making, so they can help shape youth provision of the future.

Light lunch and Refreshments provided.

If you are a young person who would like to take part or know any young people who would like to contribute, please contact Corrie Davies at corriedavies@oswestry-tc.gov.uk or Jess Williams at jess@sya.org.uk.

To attend the forum, parents must complete a parental consent form. You can either do this by completing an online form, or you can download the consent form word document,  which can be emailed to corriedavies@oswestry-tc.gov.uk. Children can also bring the consent form with them on the day. One form will cover you for all sessions.
